Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

XTR Carchip has come up with a wide body kit, along with several performance enhancements, for the Porsche Cayman, called the X-Wide.
The Cayman has been fitted with a wide body kit by the German tuners, which consists of a front spoiler with carbon splitter, side skirts, carbon fibre mirrors, rear side panels and detachable GRP fenders. The 3-piece 18-inch BBS RS wheels come with central locking and are wrapped in Pirelli rubber.

The Cayman X-Wide’s inside features a new carbon fibre dashboard, 6-point seatbelts for the Recaro GT3 seats, a safety roll cage, air conditioning and the original factory audio system, while the suspension has also been upgraded, and a new Super Sprint “Magnum” exhaust system installed.
With some slight tuning to the engine chip, the performance figures have been increased from 295bhp to 310bhp. XTR Carchip has even promised a new package in early 2010 with twin turbos that further increases the power to a whopping 850bhp.
