Auto Show: 2010 Bugatti Veyron

At the Geneva Motor Show, Bugatti revealed its two special editions Veyron Grand Sport. First of them is Royal Dark Blue, was already sold for an impressive 1.75 million euros.

It features carbon fiber made bonnet, monocoque and rear section painted in Royal Dark Blue. Same are the air intakes and all grilles. The central part of the car is painted in Arctic White.

On the interior, the dashboard, center console, seats and interior trim panels are all made of dark blue Indigo Leather, while the steering wheel, seats, center console and gearshift knob are painted in white.

Other is Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Grey Carbon. Like the Royal Dark Blue, this special model has also been sold for 1.65 million euros. But if you want a specially customized Veyron you can go to Bugatti’s stand in Geneva and you can customize your own Bugatti in the “Customisation lounge”.

For this special edition, the upper section of the body – including the doors and side panels – is made of dark gray carbon fiber while the bottom part of the car is finished in polished aluminum.

Auto 2010: 2010 Brabus EV12 Coupe

Brabus, the German tuner, has revealed the EV12 Coupe- world’s fastest Gran Tourismo at the Geneva Motor Show. The EV12 will be built in limited numbers and will carry a price tag of 478,000 euro ($650,000 at the current rates).

The EV12 is powered by a 6.3 liter V12 twin-turbo engine that develops a total of 800 hp and 1,420 Nm of torque (but limited to 1100 NM). It makes the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 3.7 seconds, to 24 mph in 9.9 seconds, and reaches 186 mph after a mere 23.9 seconds.

The top speed of the Gran Tourismo for the street-legal use, is limited electronically to 217 mph, but can go up to 230 mph is you to remove the limiter.

The aerodynamics kit includes: air outlets in the sides, special carbon-fiber sport fenders with integrated air vents, special carbon-fiber rear fenders, rear apron with carbon-fiber diffuser and a rear spoiler.
