Hyundai have facelifted its Santa Fe off-roader for the 2010 model year, with minor exterior and interior tweaks as well as a new diesel engine.

It includes the biggest change, which is the new 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine that produces 197bhp, while the off-roader also gets minor exterior and interior tweaks to keep the model fresh for the 2010 model year.

Hyundai Santa Fe range has also been simplified, with just two trim levels available in the UK, the basic Style and the top-line Premium levels.

The Style level has 17-inch alloy wheels, reverse sensors, electronic stability control, a new CD/RDS radio with an AUX/USB connection and full iPod control as well as carbon black interior trim, which replaces the wood of the outgoing model, as standard.

Meanwhile, the Premium trim level has 18-inch alloy wheels, dual climate control, and heated leather seats with electric adjustment for the driver and automated lights and wipers in addition to the equipment already featured in the Style model.

Auto Boost: Vath boosts Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG’s performance

Vath has already taken a powerful Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG SUV, giving it a tuning package in order to boost its performance further.

Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG is powered with a 6.2-litre V8 engine, which produces 510bhp and 630Nm of torque. And Vath will improve its performance further as it has decided to give the ML63 AMG an extensive modification program that includes larger intake and exhaust valves, sport camshaft, reprogrammed ECU and a custom made exhaust system, to achieve a final output of 585bhp and 690Nm of torque.

According to Vath, this enables the ML63 AMG to sprint from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds, 0.5 seconds faster than the standard car, and with the removal of the speed limiter, the ML63 AMG is now able to reach a top speed of 300km/h.

And among other modifications, it include an adjustable sport suspension based on Mercedes-Benz’s Airmatic system that lowers the ride height by up to 40mm, as well as a high-performance braking system with 8-piston fix callipers and 380 mm brake discs and 22-inch alloy wheels. There is also a roof spoiler and new fog lights to improve the looks of the SUV.
