Ford has released the Fiesta S1600 in UK, which is based on the Fiesta Zetec-S and limited to just 650 units.

With the choice of two edition body colors, the Fiesta S1600 will enter, which includes Frozen White with blue double racing stripes or Performance Blue with white racing stripes. A body kit with a new front bumper, side skirts and a spoiler and diffuser for the rear completes the aggressive look.

For the Fiesta S1600, there are two engine options- the first is a 1.6-litre Ti-VCT Duratec petrol with 120bhp, while the other is a 1.6-litre TDCi diesel with 95bhp. Ford will also offer an optional engine upgrade from Mountune, which increases the petrol engine’s power output to 140bhp and drops the car’s 0-100km/h sprint time from 9.9 to 7.9 seconds.

And the petrol model also comes with new 17-inch white alloy wheels, while the diesel gets the same alloy wheels in 16-inch size. The interior features alloy pedals and Quickclear windscreen, heated, stitched leather sports seats with standard side-airbags, leather steering wheel, handbrake cover and gear knob, plus Motorsport-branded floor mats and scuff plates.

It is also said that only 650 units of the Fiesta S1600 will be made available for sale in the UK.
