Volvo has unveiled the pictures of the C30 Performance Concept, which is being produced in collaboration with Polestar Performance.
Polestar Performance is the company responsible for preparing Volvo’s cars for competition in the Swedish Touring Car Championship, and has released the pictures of the Volvo C30 Polestar Performance Concept car.
At the Gothenburg Motor Show, the car is set to unveil, and aims to “…build further on the strong driving characteristics of the standard C30 and at the same time illustrate the link between the racing cars and the Polestar Performance products.”
The Polestar Performance Concept change includes adding a larger intercooler and a KKK 26 turbocharger to the 2.5-liter T5 engine. As a result, the C30 Polestar Performance Concept is able to produce 405bhp and 510Nm of torque, up from 227bhp and 320Nm from the standard C30.
Among other modifications to the C30 Polestar Performance Concept, it includes an aerodynamic body kit, a Haldex AWD system, Öhlins shock absorbers and springs, Brembo brakes, and 19-inch BBS wheels outfitted with Pirelli P Zero tires.
