A new compact concept car has been unveiled by Honda at the New Delhi Motor Show, tellingly named the New Small Concept.

Under the philosophy of “Man Maximum – Machine Minimum”, the five-seater, three-door New Small Concept was designed, and was assembled in Japan. The New Small Concept boasts a large cabin due to its wide platform, and Honda says the car uses an “Efficient Energetic Exterior”, as depicted by the LED headlights.
According to Honda executive Koichi Kondo, India has been the hub for the compact car segment and is also the lead country for our research and development work on the New Small Concept. The new model based on this concept will be a global car with features to suit the needs of India customers.
The New Small Concept will be launched in production form by 2011, says Honda.
